About the Role

Sentry is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Sales Professional to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling specialized commercial insurance, 401K, and life insurance products to businesses in the Indiana territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell directly to niche market accounts to increase premium volume, retain profitable business by providing effective service to policyholders, and build and maintain quality relationships with businesses.
  • Relationship Building: Work directly with Underwriting, Claims, Loss Control, Audit, Customer Service, and other key partners to leverage current customers and relationships for new growth and sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sentry's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Business Acumen: Analyze business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience/related sales experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary P&C, and Life licenses required to sell the products Sentry offers.
  • Skills: Self-discipline, ability to thrive in a remote work environment, strong analytical and math skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, communicate effectively, and remain organized.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to meet travel requirements, including a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
