About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Field Sales Consultant to manage and expand our local business in the Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana regions. This role is crucial for maintaining relationships and overseeing daily sales operations directed towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, as well as residential and commercial woodworkers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture client relationships through structured consultative sales discussions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Drive sales growth by providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Utilize CRM tools effectively to track daily activities, optimize sales calls, and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Manage your schedule to ensure regular visits to clients, spending three to four days per week in the field.
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in outside sales within the building materials or construction sectors.
  • A strong desire to learn and a passion for delivering effective solutions to clients.
  • Familiarity with building materials, cabinetry, closets, and millwork is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Possession of reliable transportation for regular travel is essential.
