About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to shape the way our customers innovate and modernize their operations using cloud technology. You will lead a team of marketing experts globally, drive collaboration across multiple areas of AWS, and develop a holistic marketing plan that meets the needs of our HCLS organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage our vertical marketing plans focused on HCLS customers and partners, including defining the industry strategy and execution.
- Interlock with leaders from AWS product and engineering teams, product marketing, our local marketing teams across the globe, and sales/business development to create compelling marketing plans.
- Ensure delivery of industry-specific, differentiated solutions supported by thought-leadership papers, executive briefs, architectural references, and customer stories.
- Engage with industry analysts and press to influence market awareness, perception, and understanding of how AWS solutions deliver industry-specific value.
- Hold a high bar for marketing activities, defining success metrics, measurement methods, and reporting processes.

Requirements- A minimum of 15 years B2B marketing experience, with demonstrated experience marketing technology solutions to Healthcare and Life Sciences companies.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns, including idea generation, execution, tracking, measurement, and refinement.
- Demonstrated experience creating industry and account-specific messaging and content, branding, and customer acquisition and nurture programs.
- Demonstrated experience in hiring and developing geographically-dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated experience as a people leader managing direct reports and indirect reporting lines.
- Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
- Proven ability to analyze complex market and account dynamics and develop a marketing strategy.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Adept at presenting to senior executives (internal and external).
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
