Job Title: Program Head - Track and Field

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Head for Track and Field to lead our athletic program. The successful candidate will have a deep passion for coaching and a strong knowledge of the sport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all functions of the track and field program, including building a staff, forming teams, and developing a schedule.
  • Develop a strong culture that permeates throughout the program, emphasizing physical strength, personal development, and mental health.
  • Effectively manage the program budget, including uniforms, equipment, local and travel competitions.
  • Represent Seattle Prep, the athletic department, and the track and field program at various marketing and networking events.
  • Seek continuing education opportunities, such as clinics, attending college practices, and working camps.
Requirements:
  • Deep levels of experience and expertise in track and field.
  • Prior coaching experience at the high school or college level, with head coaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Prep's mission and values, especially as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Supportive of the mission of a Catholic, Jesuit high school and formation of the whole person.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate participation in continuing education opportunities in the sport.
  • Available for all practice sessions, workouts, competitions, and related meetings.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications, or the ability to obtain them.
Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, with a range of $8,705 - $14,020 annually. This position is not benefits eligible.
