Role Summary:

As an Automotive Parts Specialist at Porsche Ontario, you will be instrumental in supporting our service department and ensuring our clientele receives top-notch parts and accessories. Your responsibilities will include overseeing parts inventory, offering expert guidance to customers, and providing exceptional service.

Key Duties:

  • Customer Engagement: Assist clients and service technicians in identifying and procuring the appropriate parts and accessories for their Porsche vehicles. Deliver exceptional service and advice to guarantee complete customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Oversight: Accurately process parts orders, manage returns, and maintain inventory levels. Ensure timely ordering and receipt of parts while keeping the parts department organized and efficient.
  • Technical Knowledge: Leverage your expertise in Porsche vehicles and parts to provide informed recommendations and solutions. Stay informed about the latest product updates, recalls, and industry trends.
  • Sales and Promotion: Advocate for and upsell parts and accessories, ensuring customers are aware of available options and promotions. Assist with special orders and monitor the status of back-ordered items.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of parts sales, orders, and inventory. Ensure all documentation and transactions are processed accurately and in line with dealership policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership personnel to ensure seamless operations and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in an automotive parts department or a comparable role is essential. Familiarity with Porsche vehicles and parts is a significant advantage. Experience with CDK software systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of automotive parts, components, and accessories. Familiarity with Porsche models and parts catalog systems is highly desirable.
  • Skill Set: Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately. Proficiency with computer systems and parts management software.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional automotive training or certification is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
