Job Summary

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join their team in Deer Park, California. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, as ordered by physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed and prepare examination rooms for patient exams.
  • Position patients for imaging exams, monitoring their safety during exams.
  • Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important information to physicians.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
