Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team at Texas Health HEB. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing safe patient care under physician delegation, administering medications, and completing accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers IV fluids, medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Completes accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • Provides consistent attention to patient needs, including airway, intake, elimination, sleep, rest, mobility, and hygiene
  • Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices
  • Manages cervical collars and applies external defibrillation
  • Inserts and removes oral airways and applies nasal cannulas or oxygen masks
  • Performs ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access and draws blood from ports
