About the Role

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Archaeological Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cultural Resources Management (CRM) team, you will be responsible for leading complex cultural resource investigations, conducting business development, and supporting client care through effective communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cultural Resource Investigations: Serve as the cultural resource lead for complex cultural resource investigations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Business Development: Conduct marketing and business development activities to drive growth and revenue for the company.
  • Client Care: Support client care through effective communication and coordination, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate and consult with relevant state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Proposal Development: Support proposal development, including scoping, budgeting, and scheduling, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project Management: Establish project procedures and budgetary constraints to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Cultural Resources Surveys: Plan, conduct, and lead cultural resources surveys, site recording, excavations, monitoring, and other fieldwork duties.
  • Lab Work: Conduct and lead laboratory work, including prehistoric and historic artifact identification, cataloging, and analysis.
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise staff members for cultural resource investigations throughout New Mexico.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Six years of experience in CRM as a Principal Investigator, with 10 years of supervisory experience (preferably in New Mexico and/or the Southwest).
  • Skills: Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
