We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead our HR efforts in the Northern New Mexico region. If you have a proven track record in HR, with expertise in training, organizing, auditing, and collaboration, we encourage you to apply.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing HR services to 10-15 nursing homes across Northern New Mexico, including Albuquerque, Taos, Aztec, Farmington, and more. You will report to the Sr. HR Manager and focus on onboarding and orientation, staffing and recruitment, performance management, employee retention, and regulatory compliance. The position requires frequent travel to support HR functions in assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with HR/Payroll policies and processes as regulated by governing agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation practices, including general and on-the-job training.
  • Collaborate with regional consultants to ensure timely completion of interdepartmental and departmental meetings.
  • Act as the facility Grievance Officer and partner with the Sr. Human Resources to respond to all concerns.
  • Train supervisors on Company policies and procedures, including the Personnel Policy Manual, Policy & Procedure, and Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Healthcare experience in long-term care is required.
  • Human Resources or related certificate is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant Human Resource experience, preferably experience supporting clinical and administrative operations.
  • Experience traveling to support multiple job sites.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure timely follow-through with excellent attention to detail.
