Job Description

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals. Our services include natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation, and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage, and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage, and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage, and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems.

The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the Oracle databases and ensure their performance, availability, and security.
  • Administer Oracle 19c databases with strong skills in concepts and architecture, and hands-on experience on Oracle RAC (ASM) databases.
  • Set up Standby databases for Disaster recovery using Dataguard broker.
  • Monitor and manage databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c.
  • Perform back-up and recovery using RMAN (ZDLRA knowledge is a plus).
  • Optimize database performance and system tuning.
  • Automate routine tasks like Cloning, Patching, etc. using Shell Scripting and Ansible.
  • Administer Exadata systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA skills.
  • Experience in Oracle 19c database administration with strong skills in concepts and architecture.
  • Strong production support experience of 19c ORACLE databases running on multi-node RAC (ASM).
  • Experience configuring Transaction application Continuity (TAC) in Oracle 19c RAC.
  • Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c monitoring and management.
  • Thorough knowledge on multitenant architecture, container, and pluggable database administration, and cloning.
  • Unix shell scripting expertise for automation of day-to-day tasks like cloning, patching. Ansible knowledge is a plus.
  • RMAN Backup and Recovery skills, Active Data guard configuration & monitoring skills required.
  • Experience in DR setups, High availability system, and knowledge on load balancers.
  • Knowledge in Database Performance and System tuning.
  • Experience with HANG Analyzer, system state dump, SQL Tuning, AWR analysis, Trace file analysis, etc.
  • Experience in Oracle E-Biz R12.2 Maintenance, Support, Projects, Upgrades, and Migrations is a plus.
