Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Sharp Decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all post-award aspects of contracts and grants, including Intergovernmental and Interagency Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all post-award aspects of contracts and grants, including Intergovernmental and Interagency Agreements.
  • Ensure the Division's strategic objectives are achieved by participating in the development of Standard Work.
  • Authorize payments, collect and review required reports, prepare grant/contract amendments, and review and enter budgets into the Division's financial system.
  • Monitor for contract compliance, complete sub-recipient risk assessments on an annual basis, and prepare various reports and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and ensure the quality of the work product and efficiency of procedures.
  • Build effective business relationships with federal, state, and tribal agencies as well as community partners.
  • Administer contracts and grants in compliance with applicable contracting laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Initiate and/or review contract/grant documents for completeness.
  • Prepare and review Corrective Improvement Plans (CIP) in collaboration with program staff.
  • Track contractor responses to CIP and items within the report of findings.
  • Ensure up-to-date information is documented in the monitoring tracking system.
  • Participate in the formulation and execution of Division Standard Work.
  • Participate in analyzing and evaluating work procedures for the unit.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in contract management, including preparing professional-level documents and analyzing numerical/financial data.
  • Prefer a Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, management, finance, or other related field.
