Job Description

At Turner & Townsend, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Contract Services division, you will play a critical role in providing authoritative advice and professional expertise to our clients.

About the Role

  • Work with a talented team of specialist consultants to deliver best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice.
  • Advise major clients on large-scale, flagship projects, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contracting strategies for major construction projects, utilizing your knowledge of various forms of national and international contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill the responsibilities of a Contracts Administration Consultant, providing expert support to our clients.
  • Support the provision of specialist contracts and related procurement advice to private sector clients across various sectors, including data centers, retrofits, and real estate.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on all levels of the company to analyze and determine a comprehensive contract strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of contracting strategies, including quantification and allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify potential risks contract changes may pose to the company and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage inputs from other professional team members, including technical, legal, and commercial/financial experts, to develop robust contract documents.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years' experience in the provision and delivery of procurement and/or contract services to public and private clients for large-scale capital investment projects.
  • Working knowledge and experience of various forms of national and international contracts for the delivery of construction projects.
  • Experience of working in a multi-contract environment and developing and implementing contracting strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
