Field Sales Consultant

United Rentals is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to become a part of their Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) division. In this position, you will be tasked with generating revenue within your designated territory while acting as the primary liaison for ROS offerings. You will work in tandem with Sales Representatives from various business units, offering your expertise in consultative selling and product education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for site services products, sharing technical knowledge and effective sales strategies to engage target clients across sectors such as Power, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and others.
- Accompany business unit sales representatives to pinpoint revenue-generating opportunities and inform them about ROS solutions.
- Leverage Sales and CRM tools to cultivate a pipeline of prospects and lead ROS initiatives during emergency situations.
- Conduct site services training sessions to improve product familiarity and sales techniques.
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in technical rental sales.
- Solid understanding of ROS products and their applications within the rental sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.
- Exceptional strategic selling, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
