Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Administrator to join our team at Southern Oral and Facial Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice, ensuring delivery of a quality patient experience and the achievement of productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice Leadership: Oversees all aspects of the practice, including patient and referral experience, team member satisfaction, doctor satisfaction, and opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Customer Service: Ensures a positive customer service experience for all patients.
  • Workplace Environment: Maintains a safe and enjoyable workplace for team members.
  • Team Management: Hires and trains team members.
  • Goal Setting: Sets goals and objectives for the Practice.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitors practice performance through tracking mechanisms, adjusting as needed.
  • Facilities Management: Monitors the environment and facilities, making improvements when needed.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensures policies, protocols, and procedures are being followed.
  • HR Management: Leads HR management to include scheduling, onboarding, terminations, and performance management.
  • Communication: Engages in regular communication with team members and doctors.
  • Change Implementation: Leads change implementation.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoots issues as they occur, and proactively works to avoid issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five years of related experience required.
  • Supervisory Experience: Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with other team members of all levels across the organization.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Office Management: Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
