Job Overview

Position Summary: The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for the daily management of our financial services department, ensuring operational efficiency, precision, and adherence to regulatory standards. This position is crucial for enhancing processes, leading teams, and executing strategic initiatives to improve overall performance and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily activities, including transaction management, account oversight, and financial reporting. Guarantee that all operations align with organizational policies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Recognize areas for process enhancements and spearhead initiatives to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness. Apply best practices and technological advancements to simplify workflows.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of operations personnel, offering direction, training, and performance assessments. Cultivate a collaborative and high-achieving work atmosphere.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and internal controls. Assess and manage risks related to financial operations and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, addressing their requirements and resolving any issues linked to financial services operations. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis: Generate and present operational reports to senior leadership. Evaluate key performance indicators and operational metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Project Leadership: Direct and engage in projects focused on operational enhancements, system upgrades, and other strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in financial services operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
