We are in search of a dedicated and proactive Chief Engineer to oversee the operational integrity of our facilities at TownePlace Suites Morrisville. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Prioritizing and scheduling maintenance tasks based on reported issues.
  • Conducting inspections to assess property needs.
  • Implementing ongoing maintenance programs.
  • Managing pool maintenance, including chemical adjustments and filter cleaning.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring departmental expenditures.
  • Evaluating contractor proposals and ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Recruiting and mentoring maintenance staff.
  • Coordinating with regulatory inspectors to maintain compliance.
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years in a maintenance role with experience in troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues in a positive manner.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
