KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctioning electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assessing maintenance issues, complaints, and work orders to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Monitoring and inspecting assigned maintenance work.
- Conducting property inspections to identify current and future maintenance needs.
- Planning and implementing ongoing maintenance programs.
- Managing the upkeep of the hotel's pool, including chemical adjustments and filter cleaning.
- Estimating departmental expenditures for budgeting and assisting with capital budget planning.
- Soliciting and evaluating contractor bids, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Recruiting, mentoring, training, and supporting maintenance staff.
- Coordinating with local health, safety, fire, and building inspectors to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Executing preventive maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years in a maintenance role, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to motivate colleagues to deliver their best work in a positive and respectful manner.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
