Position: Healthcare Operations Supervisor

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00/hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays | 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST

Location: Remote work available after initial orientation, candidates should be located near the operational hub.

Project Duration: Temporary role with a defined project timeline.

Role Overview:

The Healthcare Operations Supervisor will provide essential support and guidance to remote team members engaged in Benefit Verification processes. This role is pivotal in assisting management to meet productivity targets, uphold customer service excellence, and ensure quality control across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor team members in executing Benefit Investigations
  • Provide coaching and resolve team-related challenges
  • Monitor performance of seasonal staff to ensure client service expectations are met
  • Guarantee that daily output adheres to quality benchmarks
  • Facilitate training programs for Reimbursement Specialists
  • Escalate concerns to management as necessary
  • Create and maintain training documentation for the program
  • Foster open communication among team members
  • Identify and tackle program-related obstacles
  • Cultivate positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute additional related tasks as required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, or a comparable healthcare environment
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Familiarity with benefit investigations in a high-paced setting is advantageous
  • Experience in managing a remote workforce is preferred

Onboarding Prerequisites:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Two verifiable employment references
