Job Description

As an Operations Supervisor at Christian Dior FR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our boutique's non-selling functions. Reporting to the Boutique Manager/Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving, after-sales, inventory control, loss prevention, POS functions, facilities maintenance, and assisting in the management of all areas of boutique operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify purchase orders and ticketing, and audit validation and verification reports to ensure accurate processing of shipping and receiving functions.
  • Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, as well as the general maintenance of the store, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensed.
  • Participate in all inventory and cycle counts.
  • Oversee compliance of all associates with established Company policies, procedures, and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, inventory management, sales, and record-keeping procedures.
  • Train, coach, and manage all associates in the execution of operations tasks, including POS procedures, return procedures, alteration requests, safety, and security procedures.
  • Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTVs) to maintain the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Ensure adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances.
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • Previous retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.
  • Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all back-of-house operations are properly set up and organized.
  • Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all opening/closing and security procedures.
  • Assist with the process of payroll management and scheduling of associates, and ensure compliance with payroll budgets.
  • Help solve problems that affect the store's service, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to our customers.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • Availability to travel, as needed.
