Electrical Department Manager Job Description

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking an experienced Electrical Department Manager to lead our team of skilled electrical engineers and designers in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our MEPS Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects by providing technical guidance and leadership to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of electrical engineers and designers to execute projects on schedule and in budget
  • Mentor and train team members to develop their technical skills and knowledge
  • Establish and maintain technical standards for the discipline area
  • Ensure adherence to project design schedules and budgets
  • Identify potential additional services and notify Project/Client Managers in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 8-12 years of design or WW/W operation experience or industrial projects
  • PE license required
  • Proven leadership skills with experience delegating to engineering and design staff
  • Self-starter with initiative, drive, and determination
