Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix Midtown. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for a pleasant stay.
  • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests.
  • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: ensure hotel guest information is current and correct.
  • Field customer complaints when necessary.
  • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred.
