Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Real Hospitality Group. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Room Management: Verify guest credit, manage room inventory, and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Communication: Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and communicate with other hotel departments as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Front Desk Agent will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 10 pounds, and use a computer and phone regularly.

Language Skills:

Must have developed language skills to the point of being able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Math Skills:

Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to compute bills, calculate discounts, and perform other basic math functions.

Relationships to Data, People, and Things:
  • Data: Compiling and reporting information about guests and hotel operations.
  • People: Communicating with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments.
  • Things: Operating and maintaining hotel equipment and systems.
Specific Vocational Preparation:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks are essential for success in this role.
