Job Summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the Western MA, CT, Upstate NY territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual product sales goals
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets
  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC
  • Provide sales and support assistance to customers, including product demos, installs, and training
  • Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience
  • Proven time management skills and contract negotiation experience
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office

Travel Requirements:

  • 50-75% travel
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight for territory coverage and company meetings
