About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Sales Specialist to join our team at NBCUniversal. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing custom digital sales opportunities for advertisers, as well as coordinating the execution of digital campaigns and associated revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Aid sales force in the overall RFP and pricing and planning process, including analyzing available inventory to provide sellable digital media proposals to agencies and direct advertisers.
  • Create template media plans for both custom and off-the-shelf marketing ideas.
  • Use Wide Orbit Traffic and Operative One's Finance module to book, bill, and invoice digital campaigns.
  • Work in Operative One to book and manage digital campaign products.
  • Manage live campaigns by monitoring pacing and delivery.
  • Develop strategic reallocation and optimizations for live campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Account Executives on development of renewal strategies based on client/program insights.
  • Work with the traffic/operations team to schedule, traffic, and implement advertising programs.
  • Pull screenshots, provide campaign pacing and reporting updates to Sales Account Executives on all active campaigns.
  • Deliver superior customer service by making performance recommendations and optimizations.
  • Monitor first and/or third-party impression metrics to ensure full delivery.
  • Book and manage contracts in Operative One/Wide Orbit, our finance invoicing system.
  • Actualize billing each month and work with finance to adjust billing and provide clients with accurate invoicing.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in digital sales support, preferably within operations org.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Operative One, or similar Order Management System.
  • Familiarity with ad serving systems (FreeWheel, DFP).
  • Familiarity in Excel.
  • Understanding of digital billing and invoicing.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Post Sales operations expert.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and inventive.
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to change.
