Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team at Allegiance Staffing in the Raleigh/Morrisville, NC area.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items, including loading and unloading shipments.
- Inventory Activities: Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
- Inventory Records: Maintain and update inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Loss Prevention: Implement a loss prevention program and report stock issues to management.
- Ordering and Replenishment: Place product orders as necessary and prepare lists of depleted and unusable products.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; relevant work experience, particularly in the printing industry, is a plus.
- Skills:
- Forklift and hand truck experience preferred.
- Proficient in computer software, especially inventory systems, MS Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours with minimal breaks.
- Willingness to abide by all plant practices and procedures.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights.
- Essential Job Functions: Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attendance: Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Overtime: Overtime is an expected requirement.
