Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and implement our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular verifications and inspections of our manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Take charge of swabbing and other microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas.
  • Handle non-conformance issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Review and approve product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Train and guide team members on food safety and quality practices to ensure they are well-equipped to maintain our high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement in our food safety and quality systems.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, swabbing, non-conformance handling, verifications, and labeling.
  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.
  • Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.
  • A certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC would be an advantage.
