Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review and approve product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Train and guide team members on food safety and quality practices, ensuring they are equipped to maintain our high standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our food safety and quality systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, microbiological testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.
- Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.
- Certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC is an advantage.
