Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Review and approve product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Train and guide team members on food safety and quality practices, ensuring they are equipped to maintain our high standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our food safety and quality systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, microbiological testing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.
  • Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.
  • Certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC is an advantage.
