Position Overview:

Are you dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in food production? Do you excel at ensuring that every product meets stringent quality benchmarks? If so, we are in search of a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor to enhance our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Managing and ensuring the execution of our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) initiatives.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments of our production processes, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Leading microbiological testing and hygiene assessments to guarantee the cleanliness of our production environments.
  • Addressing non-conformance issues, including conducting investigations, root cause analyses, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Reviewing and validating product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Training and mentoring team members on food safety and quality protocols, ensuring they are equipped to uphold our high standards.
  • Collaborating with various departments to foster continuous improvement in our food safety and quality management systems.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position within the food production sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of FSQA, GMP, microbiological testing, non-conformance management, audits, and labeling.
  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey food safety and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various software systems for data management and reporting.
  • A certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC would be advantageous.
