Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the implementation of FSQA programs to maintain high-quality products and ensure customer trust.
  • Conduct regular verifications and inspections of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Take charge of swabbing and microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of production areas.
  • Handle non-conformance issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Review and approve product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Train and guide team members on food safety and quality practices to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, swabbing, non-conformance handling, verifications, and labeling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.
  • Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.
  • Certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC is an advantage.
