Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team as a Clinical Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for coordinating daily operations of the department/unit/clinic to ensure high-quality patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates daily operations of department/unit/clinic to ensure appropriate quality of care.
  • Serves as liaison and facilitates communication between administration, physician, staff, patients, and other departments.
  • Participates in development and implementation of department goals and objectives.
  • Supervises assigned staff and ensures high-quality patient care services at optimal controllable cost.
  • Assesses and monitors clinical nursing practice for optimal patient care.
  • Designs and evaluates processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum.
  • Functions as liaison between administration, physician, staff, patients, and other departments.
  • Facilitates communication between physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Participates in development and implementation of department goals and objectives.
  • May perform patient care to the extent necessary to maintain clinical expertise, competency, and licensing necessary to fulfill job responsibilities and to direct the provision of care on the unit.
  • Provides direct patient care on an as-needed basis.
  • Provides services that are within scope of license and in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements relevant to clinical role performed.
  • Incorporates the KP Nursing Vision, Model, and Values throughout their Nursing Practice.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, counsels, disciplines, and terminates assigned staff as appropriate.
  • Communicates goals, objectives, accountabilities, priorities, and authority parameters to assigned staff.
  • Minimum three (3) years staff nurse experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or healthcare-related field; License, Certification, Registration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications.
  • Oncology nursing experience is preferred.
  • Nursing education/training experience.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record system.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a healthcare-related field.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience as a staff nurse.
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or healthcare-related field.
  • License, Certification, Registration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications.
  • Oncology nursing experience is preferred.
  • Nursing education/training experience.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record system.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a healthcare-related field.
