Clinical Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to join our team at Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive laboratory services to meet the unique testing needs of the transplant community.
Job Summary:The Clinical Laboratory Scientist I will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, including microbiology testing, infectious disease testing, and Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) testing. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely test results, while maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests, including microbiology testing, infectious disease testing, and HLA testing.
- Ensure accurate and timely test results, while maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed by the State of Hawaii to perform Histocompatibility and/or infectious disease testing.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal/teamwork skills.
- Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite software programs.
