Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with customers, agents, and team members.
  • Research load information to optimize logistics operations.
  • Report client requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
  • Negotiate price and cost of carrier services, driving value for our clients.
  • Update service-level reports and provide analysis on results, informing business decisions.
  • Escalate ongoing performance issues to the Carrier Relations Manager, ensuring prompt resolution.

Requirements:

  • Ability to build strong inter-professional relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Experience working with carriers and operational knowledge in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience in analyzing data and communicating information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple projects and issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous professional work experience, with previous carrier sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with ability to learn new software and systems.
