Position Overview
As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in cost estimation and program management to aid in the development and procurement of space launch vehicles for national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate will:

  • Utilize advanced cost estimating techniques to create comprehensive estimates.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the cost estimation process, particularly in relation to Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems.
  • Analyze technical and cost data, develop and implement cost methodologies, and create defendable life cycle cost estimates.
  • Provide proposal pricing support to government source selection teams as necessary.
  • Evaluate contractor cost estimates and provide recommendations to government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program managers and technical teams to formulate program strategies and acquisition documentation.
  • Present findings and analyses to government representatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation and analysis, specifically supporting DoD, NRO, Intelligence Agency, NASA, or NOAA.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, mathematics, or sciences.
  • Certification in cost estimating from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ICEAA or DAWIA) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Software SEER-SEM, and Price.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Additional Expertise
Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, experience in developing cost estimating relationships, and familiarity with the DoD and National Intelligence Community budget cycles are advantageous. A Secret Clearance is mandatory, while a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
