Senior Accounting Professional

EM4, a Luminar Company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior GL Accountant to join our team in Bedford, MA. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and reconcile customer accounts.
- Process vendor invoices, perform 3-way match, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Set up payments, perform monthly cash and bank reconciliations, and reconcile T&E corporate credit cards.
- Prepare payroll journal entries based on reports from the HR/Payroll team.
- Perform monthly accruals and provide cost accounting support as needed.
- Prepare month-end close deliverables, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.
- Execute internal controls related to Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes.
- Respond to audit requests and interface with internal and external auditors.
- Participate in ERP implementation projects and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes.
- 2+ years of relevant Accounting or Finance experience, with 4+ years of experience in a Senior GL Accountant role.
- Close process experience and proficiency in SYSPRO, QuickBooks, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to lift 10 pounds.
