The Guest Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Front Office and General Manager by delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests throughout their stay. This position is also tasked with optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain consistent attendance in line with company standards, adapting to the hotel's operational needs.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Exhibit a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Set the benchmark for guest relations at the Front Desk.
  • Gather all necessary information when processing room reservations.
  • Monitor guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Review the Front Office log and Trace Files on a daily basis.
  • Fully understand and execute all relevant aspects of the front desk system.
  • Manage enrollment and benefits delivery for loyalty programs.
  • Ensure accurate posting of all parking charges.
  • Stay informed about current rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Be knowledgeable about all in-house groups.
  • Be aware of all closed-out and restricted dates.
  • Follow and enforce all hotel credit policies.
  • Perform all duties of a Front Desk Agent as needed.
  • Complete and ensure accurate filing of bucket checks, room rate verification reports, and housekeeping reports.
  • Foster good communication and teamwork with colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
  • Assist management in ensuring compliance with company standards (e.g., answering phones, returning guest calls, maintaining guest request logs).
  • Be knowledgeable of and assist in all emergency procedures as required.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out process for guests, ensuring it is friendly, efficient, and courteous.
  • Ensure all tasks and duties on the shift checklist are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Guarantee that employees maintain a high level of attentiveness, friendliness, and courtesy towards all guests and team members.
  • Maximize room revenue effectively.
  • Respond to all guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and execution.
  • Help maintain productivity levels in line with budgeted standards.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by management.
  • Assist in the training of new hires and current employees regularly.
  • Attend meetings as required by management.
