The Night Auditor is a critical role within the hotel operations team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. As a Guest Service Agent, this individual will provide exceptional service to guests during the overnight front desk shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately balance all hotel income and expenses for every 24-hour operating period.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a liaison between the front desk and other hotel departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and policies to effectively promote and sell them to guests.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and guest service principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
