Position Overview: The Front Desk Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences at the Huntington Hotel. This position is designed to support the Front Office Team in their daily responsibilities while embodying a proactive approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front office operations to ensure compliance with hotel standards and procedures, aiming for complete guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate seamless check-in and check-out processes for all guests, managing guest accounts with precision.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding hospitality and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist team members with any questions or challenges that arise during their shifts.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering strong relationships with associates and other departments.
  • Conduct regular audits of front desk operations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Stay informed about hotel promotions, packages, and services to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Train and mentor staff on hospitality skills, technical knowledge, and effective communication.
  • Manage departmental costs to align with budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate between departments and perform various tasks as needed.
