Key Responsibilities and Duties
Human Resources and Administration
- Conduct recruitment and selection of new team members
- Assist the President/CEO in managing staff performance and development
- Oversee the implementation of internal policies and controls
- Facilitate the annual goal-setting and performance review process
- Address employee relations and performance management issues
- Foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement
Financial Management
- Collaborate with financial advisors and accounting staff on fiscal matters
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Develop annual budgets and departmental financial plans
- Maintain oversight of internal financial controls and the finance committee
Technology Oversight
- Supervise IT systems, including hardware and software solutions
- Ensure the availability and functionality of audiovisual technology for organizational meetings
- Manage IT contractors and oversee technology initiatives
- Align technology solutions with organizational objectives
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of five years in accounting or finance roles
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
