Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Production Operations to lead our innovative team. This pivotal role is situated within our Customer Communications Division, recognized globally for excellence in digital and mail communications. You will oversee the Production Operations Group at our state-of-the-art facility, driving operational excellence through the application of Six Sigma methodologies and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine departmental strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure exceptional client service levels.
  • Manage the strategic operations of print, production, shipping, receiving, technology, inventory, and facility management to achieve superior performance metrics.
  • Maintain and elevate product quality standards, leveraging Six Sigma or similar quality improvement frameworks.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.
  • Implement effective cost control measures to manage production expenses.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles.
  • Foster talent development and succession planning within manufacturing teams.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the production operations workforce.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Production Operations leadership team.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members to encourage professional growth.
  • Design and execute operational solutions to accommodate new products and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development and management of capital and expense budgets in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure operational adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership regarding strategic scheduling and operational matters.

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in operations and management.
  • Demonstrated success as a senior operations leader.
  • Relevant experience in print, mail production, manufacturing, or light industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing operations, finance, quality assurance, and client delivery.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional work environment and adherence to company policies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
