Manufacturing Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead our asphalt and aggregate operations in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing the project management and supervision of various asphalt, recycle, and aggregate plants.
Main Responsibilities:- Embody the company's safety culture and actively support all safety initiatives.
- Support, promote, and practice the company's core values, vision, and mission.
- Monitor operations to ensure safety, environmental, regulatory, and production targets are met.
- Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, local communities, and government agencies.
- Manage the region's recycle business, including hiring, training, and development of staff, bidding quotes, scheduling, and financial budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct monthly and annual inventories for all aggregate and asphalt business, as well as land and properties.
- Manage the manufacturing maintenance and planning program to improve plant uptime.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and manage CAPEX/OPEX projects.
- Assist sales and logistics teams with material quoting for asphalt, aggregates, and ready-mix products.
- Assist with development of budgets and forecasts, handle production schedules to meet plans.
- Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational practices, and recommend improvements to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and production efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or a similar field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current MSHA Certification and/or ability to obtain may be required for some roles.
- Remote controlled pilot license (Simon will sponsor the selected candidate to obtain such).
- Valid drivers' license and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
- 5+ years of practical experience with aggregate, or industrial minerals, and/or similar production processes.
- 3+ years of experience leading, managing, and developing hourly employees.
- Mechanical sense, including experience with process controls, crushing, and screening operations.
- Business sense, including experience/ability reading, interpreting, and analyzing financial statements.
- Ability to analyze information, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to plan, problem-solve, and work effectively toward deadlines.
- Consistent track record of maintaining a safe work culture.
- Self-directed, focused on results, and highly motivated.
- Solid computer skills using MS Office, plant production software, and similar programs.
