Job Summary

Cec Companies is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and building strong teams, delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and CEC standards.
  • Manage risks and investigate potentially serious situations to circumvent problems or promptly implement corrective measures as required.
  • Actively pursue additional work through change orders.
  • Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Drive division profitability through effective project execution.
Requirements
  • BSEE or Construction Management preferred, high school diploma required.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience/knowledge of trade-specific contracting, constructing design, finance and management.
  • Strong project management skills including documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, change order pricing, negotiating skills.
  • Superior communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, and Accubid.
  • Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
