About the Role

EnerSys is seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4 Project Manager to lead the implementation of our enterprise-wide SAP S/4 system. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing all aspects of the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities of the organization
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Assist in establishing realistic timelines and goals for project deliverables
  • Demonstrate superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions; resolve conflicts; and create partnerships with team members and stakeholders
  • Work seamlessly with Organizational Change Management to drive change to ensure project success while taking full account of obstacles, opposition, and differing stakeholder priorities
  • Develop/maintain detailed project budgets
  • Follow standard project methodology frameworks to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Manage project status, risks, and issues with appropriate escalation mechanism
  • Pro-actively develop and implement strategies that significantly mitigate program/project risk
  • Establish contacts and cultivate relationships and a network both inside and outside of EnerSys
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with stakeholders and team members to continuously improve project management processes and toolkits
Requirements
  • Requires BS degree in Computer Science or related area of study
  • 10+ years of in-depth experience in SAP S/4 and/or SAP ECC across configuration, implementation, and project management domains
  • Minimum of 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations for a large enterprise (combination of brown field and green field) in Manufacturing organization strongly desired
  • Strong IT Application Project Management skills required; PMI or equivalent certification/relevant experience preferred
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective
  • Proven experience structuring frameworks/approaches to complex problem-solving experience in LEAN processes is strongly preferred
  • Experience working successfully in large, complex, fast-paced organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince II
  • Experience with other Project Management tools
  • Project Management experience in implementing Data and Analytics platform
