About the Role: The Assistant Director will be responsible for leading and managing programs, administering policies, and resolving complex issues related to student life, advising, career counseling, and academic services. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program planning and implementation
  • Provide advising and guidance to students on academic and career goals
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external contacts to advance the mission of the Native American Cultural Center
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working with Native American communities and students preferred
