Position Overview:
The Senior VAD Nursing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team in delivering comprehensive guidance and oversight for the unit. This position is integral in cultivating a collaborative environment that promotes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring adherence to operational and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to oversee the care delivery framework and enhance service quality across the organization.
- Engage in the development and execution of quality improvement strategies, regularly assessing performance metrics in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) team.
- Provide direction for professional nursing care within the designated area, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience in a relevant clinical nursing setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities and clinical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
