Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Windsor Fashions. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to provide a broad selection of on-trend apparel for all occasions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Driver: As a member of the sales-directing team, you will be responsible for driving sales to ensure the overall success of the store. You will build brand loyalty by providing an exceptional customer experience and provide feedback to improve sales performance.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: You will support the Store Manager in finding and retaining top talent, building a wide talent pool, and ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Store Operations: You will organize and plan daily operations to ensure the store runs smoothly, execute sales floor operations, and maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Leadership and Development: You will partner with the Store Manager to supervise and train a team of up to 25 employees, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and promote Windsor values.
  • Integrity and Compliance: You will ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, and maintain a high level of integrity in all aspects of your role.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Effective communication skills in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Ability to work a flexible and reliable schedule, including opening and closing the store

Physical Demands

The Assistant Manager will frequently stand, walk, observe, bend, and push. They must be able to count, communicate, read, and write in English. They must also be able to access all areas of the store, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise or supplies, and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.
