Job Title: Medical/Practice Assistant Neurosurgery

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical/Practice Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our neurosurgery department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support to patients and families, including vital sign collection, medication reconciliation, and patient education.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, and managing billing information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in patient care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
