Position Overview:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Partner Marketing Manager to spearhead the marketing strategy and initiatives that facilitate the transition of enterprise applications and workloads to AWS cloud solutions through AWS sales and strategic partners.

This role emphasizes collaboration with significant AWS alliance partners, including SAP and VMware.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive partner marketing experience, a deep understanding of cloud industry dynamics, and the capability to create innovative and scalable marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global partner marketing strategy and plans, ensuring alignment with success metrics.
  • Create top-tier programs that support the migration of enterprise applications and workloads to AWS in collaboration with Global System Integrators (GSIs), System Integrators (SIs), and other partners.
  • Work closely with alliance partners to execute joint marketing efforts that showcase the advantages of operating workloads on AWS.
  • Design scalable global marketing campaigns, toolkits, and resources to enable partner execution.
  • Oversee the promotion of partner offerings at AWS events and ensure partner representation at alliance events.
  • Collaborate with global alliance teams to pinpoint priorities and focus initiatives based on functional and technical requirements.
About the Team:

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients, including those in the public sector. The AWS Global Support team engages with leading companies, believing that exceptional support is vital to customer success. AWS Support collaborates with a global roster of clients building mission-critical applications on AWS services.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
  • 7+ years of experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, including macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience in developing and executing campaigns across various time zones and languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in guiding direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Experience in designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners on a global scale.

Amazon offers a total compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors, including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
