Industrial Electrician

ZF Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems in our manufacturing environment.

• Operate and maintain mobile CMMS devices for reactive calls and preventive maintenance assignments.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety requirements and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Work efficiently to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
• Comply with electrical preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Complete electrical PM inspections, wire harness, filters, and cable management tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge through educational workshops and formal training.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with IATF policies and procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
• Provide input into plant RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes and periodic PM reviews.

• Minimum of three years of verified industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and understanding of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanics and machine grinding principles.
• Understanding of conveyors, automation, and mechanical systems.
• Compliance with state regulations and ARC flash safety protocols.
• Up-to-date technological training and experience with newer equipment.
• Ownership of necessary tools (excluding specialty tools).

• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• German and/or Spanish language skills.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an engineering lab atmosphere with some office exposure. The engineering lab includes a machine shop, where the associate is exposed to potentially hazardous equipment and moderate to high noise levels, both requiring the use of protective equipment to ensure the safety of the associate.
