Job Summary:

The City Development Operations Manager will oversee the planning, organizing, and coordinating of all phases of Community Development operations. This role involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the City Manager and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker responsible for day-to-day operations, liaison with governmental bodies, relationship-building outreach to businesses and residents, management of development projects, and implementation of long-term plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community development strategies and plans

Collaborate with city departments and external stakeholders to achieve community development goals

Manage development projects and ensure regulatory compliance

Build relationships with businesses and residents to promote community growth

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field

5+ years of experience in community development or a related field

Strong leadership and project management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
