Culinary Operations Manager
">We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at CCL Hospitality Group.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong background in managing food production, quality control, and staff supervision. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all culinary operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.A competitive salary of $95,000 per year is offered, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Responsibilities:
• Manage daily culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and kitchen staff supervision
• Ensure high-quality food products are prepared and presented according to company standards
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates
• Collaborate with other department managers to achieve business objectives
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and productivity
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and sales data
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and implement best practices in culinary operations management
Requirements:
• 5+ years of progressive experience in culinary operations management or related field
• Proven track record of success in managing food production, quality control, and staff supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or culinary arts preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
• Extensive catering experience a plus
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences
• Hands-on chefs experience a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
• Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities.
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable.
